Origin of her name:
Her name just sounded right! She's a cutie, and Cricket is a cute name.

Species:
Megascops asio (Eastern Screech Owl)

Status as of November 1, 2015:
In training - only staff should attempt to work her.

Rescue Story:
Cricket was admitted to Willowbrook in January of 2015. She had been found in Wheaton after being hit by a car. She has a fractured left wing and is blind in her wonky left eye.
