The Professor
Origin of his name:
His name comes from when he was trained and he closely watched every move the handlers made with the studied eye of a college professor.
Species:
Buteo jamaicensis (Red-tailed Hawk)
Status as of November 1, 2015:
He's okay to be worked. Ask the Naturalists for some helpful tips if you're having trouble getting him on the glove.

Rescue Story:
Admitted December of 2003 with a broken right wing resulting in abnormal elbow and shoulder movement - probably hit by a car.
